Flat Repair — When a Tire Can Be Saved

A puncture is repairable when it sits in the tread area, measures under a quarter inch, and the tire has not been driven flat. We repair it the way tire makers specify: the tire comes off the wheel, gets inspected from the inside, and takes a combination patch-plug — not a rope plug pushed in from outside in a parking lot. That repair seals the injury and restores the tire to full service, including highway speeds.

We will tell you no — and why — when the damage is in the sidewall or shoulder, the hole is too large, the cords show, or the tread is below 2/32". A tire that has run flat even briefly usually has a destroyed inner liner; it looks fine outside and fails at speed. Those tires get replaced, not patched.

New Tires, Mounted and Balanced

Bring your own tires — ordered online or bought elsewhere — and we mount and balance them the same visit. Need rubber? Tell us the size on the sidewall and we quote options from local distributors, usually available within a day. Every mount ends on the balancer: weights set, bead seated, torqued to spec with a torque wrench, not an impact gun left to guess.

Balancing and Rotation

A steering wheel that shimmies at 60 mph is usually one of two things: wheel weights that have shifted, or a bent rim. Balancing answers the question in minutes — if the vibration survives fresh balancing, the wheel itself is bent, and that is a wheel & rim repair job in the same building. Rotation every 5,000–7,000 miles keeps wear even and doubles as a free look at brakes and suspension while the wheels are off.
