Auto body & collision repair for North Bergen, NJ
Seven miles south, away from the tunnel traffic.
Our shop is on Bayview Ave in the Greenville section of Jersey City, about seven miles from North Bergen Town Hall — south on Tonnelle Avenue and Kennedy Boulevard, or the Turnpike Extension to Exit 14B. Send photos for a written price the same business day, and if the car cannot be driven, towing intake runs around the clock.
Getting here from North Bergen
Tonnelle with no tolls, or the Turnpike, a little quicker.
From Town Hall on Kennedy Boulevard to our door on Bayview Ave, in the Greenville section of Jersey City, is about seven miles. Both routes run south, and outside rush hour the drive takes about 25 to 30 minutes.
- Tonnelle Avenue (US 1&9) south, then Kennedy Boulevard down into Greenville — no tolls
- The Turnpike Extension (I-78) to Exit 14B, then down Garfield Avenue — one toll, often a few minutes quicker
- From the north end of town, add a few minutes; at rush hour, add more
- Not drivable? Towing intake runs around the clock — call before the car goes anywhere else
Free parking on site while the estimate is written. If the car still drives, send photos first and make a single trip, already knowing the price. If it does not, call us before anyone else hooks it up: one tow straight to the shop that will repair it, instead of a storage yard and then a second tow.
What North Bergen driving does to cars
Trucks on Tonnelle, tunnel traffic on 495.
North Bergen runs from the warehouses and truck traffic of Tonnelle Avenue, at the foot of the Palisades, up to the tight blocks around Kennedy Boulevard and Bergenline Avenue on top — with Route 495 cutting through toward the Lincoln Tunnel. Each leaves its own kind of damage, and each is fixed differently.
Side-swiped on Tonnelle
Trucks changing lanes on US 1&9 or swinging wide into warehouse and store lots leave a telltale mark: a scrape or crease running across both doors and into the rear quarter, often with a mirror knocked loose on the way. Each panel is repaired or replaced as it needs, and the color is blended across the whole side so the car does not end up in three slightly different shades.
Stop-and-go toward the tunnel
The Route 495 backup produces low-speed rear-end hits. The bumper cover often springs back into shape while the absorber and brackets behind it stay crushed or cracked, and the sensors in it can end up aimed wrong. We take the cover off, rebuild what is behind it and recalibrate sensors and radar in-house when the manufacturer's procedure calls for it. If you were the one hit, the repair belongs on the other driver's policy.
Tight blocks up top
Parking on the narrow blocks around Kennedy Boulevard and Bergenline Avenue means door dings and curb-rashed wheels. A ding with the paint unbroken comes out with paintless dent repair — $150 to $450 a dent, same day to two days, factory paint untouched. Curb rash on a wheel is refinished for $150 to $350.
What we handle
One shop, start to finish.
Frame bench, paint booth, mechanical work and camera calibration in one building — so a car that came down on a flatbed leaves finished, not after a tour of three vendors.
Collision Repair
Side-swipes, rear-end hits and anything that arrived on a flatbed: measured on the frame bench, repaired, painted and color-matched under one roof.
Auto Repair & Mechanical
Brakes, suspension, cooling and diagnostics in our own bays, so whatever a collision knocked loose underneath is fixed on the same job card.
Tesla Repair
High-voltage system made safe before work starts, aluminum panels repaired at a dedicated mobile station, cameras and radar recalibrated before delivery.
Paint Protection Film
XPEL or STEK USA film on the bumper, hood edge and mirrors — the panels that catch the grit thrown up by trucks on Tonnelle Avenue.
Wheel & Rim Repair
Curb rash refinished from $150 a wheel, or the set powder-coated in our own shop — $800 for four, back in as little as 24 hours.
Lease Return Restoration
Dings, curb rash and bumper scuffs fixed at body-shop prices before the turn-in inspector bills them at dealer retail.
Insurance
Your claim, your shop — anywhere in New Jersey.
An insurer can recommend a shop. It cannot require one, and a North Bergen address does not tie the repair to a North Bergen shop. If an adjuster says the claim only works at their network facility, that is steering, and the car can still come to us.
- We work with every major carrier and write the estimate in the format the adjuster expects
- Hidden damage found at teardown is photographed and filed as a supplement — we argue it with the adjuster, not you
- You pay your deductible, and nothing beyond it without your written approval
- Rear-ended on 495? That claim belongs on the other driver's policy, and the choice of shop is still yours
Three languages at the counter
English, Spanish or Russian — whichever is spoken at home.
The estimate, the calls with the adjuster and the paperwork can all be handled in English, Spanish or Russian. If a letter from the insurer is hard to follow in any language, bring it in and we will go through it with you.
